This exhibition catalog introduces an artistic exploration of memory, relationships, and time. Starting from the Freya-Frahm-Haus in Laboe – a place shaped by three generations of women – a complex dialogue between past and present unfolds. At its core is the mother-child relationship as a fundamental form of intimacy, experience, and transmission. Painting, poetry, and music take up this motif and expand it with the perspective of the sea – as a symbol of change and permanence.
